Register Pins

Ternes Burton™ register pins enable tight registration on multi color projects, mainly when using wood block or lino material or silk screening. Register pins are currently available in both metal and plastic. Both the stainless and the plastic pins are made with my trademarked base shape, which is unique to my company. They are designed with a narrow forward area to hold the button centered to prevent tilt, while the wide base has a hole in it so that as you tape the pin base down you have adhesion on either side as well as the center. This helps prevent movement.

My stainless pins are spot welded multiple times and are hand polished on both the top and bottom. The most common metal register pin I sell is the 1/4" x .085 R which has a 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter round button which is .085" high. Stainless pins are hand made one at a time and are priced accordingly. Available in limited quantities. Priced and sold individually, not as pairs. All heights listed are the button height only. Plastic register pins are 1/5 the price of metal register pins, but are still meant for repeated use. They are a great choice for schools and students due to their low cost. To make them even more affordable they have price breaks at 50 and 100 pins in the pull down menu. They are available in two heights only- .065" (1.3mm) and .120" high. The overall thickness of the base plus button on the lower height of .065" is still less than the thickness of standard lino material. The plastic pins are recyclable, molded, and are meant for repeated use, however please watch your roller pressure with them. Priced and sold individually, not as pairs. All heights listed are the button height only.
